Periodontal Disease Treatments

The foundation of our treatment plans usually begins with a thorough oral health assessment in our Orlando, FL dental office.

Following your assessment, we start scheduling a customized treatment protocol going forward.

Periodontal treatments sometimes include scaling and root planing (SRP). SRP removes tartar, plaque, and bacteria from teeth and just below the gumline to help gums reattach to the tooth structure, eliminating the pocketing that collects bacteria. Oral or topical antibiotics can assist with healing. Our water filtration system called Sterisil® ensures each rinse with our water system is bacteria free.
